为提高我校研究生学习英语的热情，增强研究生的交流会话能力，经与校外事处办公室协商，现聘请英国外籍教师面向全体研究生进行英语口语短期培训，具体事宜通知如下：

二、培训时间及地点：本次培训共安排3周，即从14周（5月31日）至16周（6月18日），具体安排见下表。

1. Qualifications

Title of Degree: MSc International Relations.

Further Details: The core module of International Politics and a 10,000 word dissertation entitled ‘The Many Sons of the Yellow Emperor – Nationalist Challenges to the Last Chinese Empire’ were accompanied by my electives of‘International Politics of Asia’, and ‘Nationalism’.

Result: Merit.

The Peace Studies Institute of theUniversityofBradford.

Title of Degree: BA International Relations and Security Studies.

Further Details: Specialised in Conflict Resolution, Globalisation, and Identity Politics. A 15,000 word dissertation was produced, which was graded to a 1st class level, on Globalisation and Chinese Nationalism.

Result: 2:1.

Further Details: A-Levels obtained in Maths, Economics, Physics, and General Studies. Ten GCSEs obtained including Maths, English Literature, English Language, and Double Award Science.

Freelance political and economic consulting. Recent work includes solo commissions, for Euromonitor International, researching and writing full economic forecasts forChina,South Korea, and forJapanrespectively over the period 2008-2015. Currently researchingChina’s political and economic influence inCentral Asia.

Position: Primary/Secondary School Teacher.

Further Details: Taught at various public and private schools acrossYorkshirebuilding upon voluntary work undertaken in the public sector during my undergraduate studies. Roles included English language for both primary and secondary school students as well as exam preparation lessons in both small groups and via one-to-one tutorials. My experience also extended to proofreading for foreign, including Chinese, students’ university dissertations and essays.

Full working knowledge of all areas of the business including the technical aspects regarding the network and cellular devices was paramount in the daily running of this dynamic and market leading mobile telephony company.

Employer: BT Cellnet.

Position: Consumer Services.

Further Details: Employed on the company’s growing consumer and SME base. I took

responsibility in coaching and team supervisory roles over a team of fifteen as well as establishing and filling the role of editor of a fortnightly departmental magazine.
